Outdoor Summer Entertaining Essentials

We have a pizza and movie night tradition every Friday. It started about a year ago and it’s something we all look forward to alllll week. Now that it’s summer I decided it was time to switch things up a bit and I’ve partnered with Target today to share how we are moving things OUTSIDE for summer! 

Grilled pizzas. Chilled wine. Slip & slides. Bathing suits. Late bedtimes. These are all the simple pleasures this season brings to life with the help of Target! You know that Target is my go-to for just about everything and their new seasonal outdoor entertaining pieces are so great! I put together this whole tablescape using affordable Target finds. My favorite piece is probably the $20 rattan pitcher and the classic blue and white stripe tablecloth will be used for years. 

I also love these amazing rattan hurricanes that I also used as vase for flowers – such a great price at $10 and the size is substantial! I’ve had the placemats since last year and use them both inside and outside and love how they dress up a table. The melamine plates and platters are such fun colors for the summer season. I also got these citronella votives & pillar candles which I’ve been on the hunt for! The paper napkins have been sitting on my counter for a few weeks and really add a summer vibe to our kitchen. 

The girls were super excited to eat pizza from the grill outside and move our Friday tradition to the yard but they were elated to have their very first slip & slide experience! It was SO fun watching them on this double water slide. Target has so many inflatable pools and outdoor water toys! We love the SunSquad line that is full of beach balls, games and fun like this giant parachute a few of my friends have!

I am so looking forward to a fun-filled summer outside with my girls and really can’t wait for the memory making to begin!
