This post was created in collaboration with Papyrus.
I’ve always been a paper hoarder — even in my much younger years I loved to buy stationary and notepads and would rarely use it because I didn’t want it to be ‘gone’. As I’ve grown up my tendencies to splurge on paper products haven’t changed but I now appreciate the feeling when I send off a beautiful card to a friend or family member instead of keeping it in a box on a shelf for years. It’s especially meaningful in the digital age we live in and I know the recipient on the other end is sure to smile when they check their mailbox.
I started shopping at Papyrus when I lived in NYC and it’s still one of my favorite places to pick up cards or paper. Papyrus recently collaborated with fashion designer, Lela Rose on a
beautiful collection of cards, bags, gift tags and more as a nod to Fashion Week. I was lucky enough to attend one of Lela Rose’s beautiful shows back when I went up to NYC for the craziness that is now NYFW and couldn’t be more inspired by her designs and cards.
These fashion illustration cards are my favorite — and the recipient could even frame them, they are pieces of art! The detail and craftsmanship is carefully thought out – from the thick card stock down to the envelope liners. I can’t wait to send a few ‘just because’ notes to my girlfriends this fall.
