Over Thanksgiving my sister created the most delicious peppermint mocha recipe — since I can’t indulge in dairy yet I made a few tweaks to the recipe for my own version with coconut milk. Nespresso’s new Swiss Chocolate capsules are perfect for this since they have a chocolate flavor but regular coffee works just as well! It’s so good – the perfect holiday treat to enjoy after Piper goes to sleep while I set up shop on my laptop in front of the tree!
Spiked Peppermint Mocha
3/4 cup of freshly brewed coffee
1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
3 tbs dairy free chocolate syrup
3 tbs peppermint schnapps
Combine all ingredients, top with coconut cream and sprinkles and enjoy!
