The 5 Best Maternity Jeans!!

I’ve been working on this post for a while, ordering and trying on a ton of different maternity jean options. Let me tell you finding the right fit, style and wash has proven very tricky !! I hope to update it in the next few days with actual photos where you can see the denim better, so stay tuned for that!

Why I love these: THEY DO NOT STRETCH OUT! I got them a little tooooo tight (sized down) and would suggest taking your normal pre-pregnancy size. I love the wash and the cut. And you can’t beat the price!

Best For Comfort: 1822 Step Hem Skinny Jean $59.99 (pictured below)
Why I love these: I can wear them all day and be comfortable. Now, they do start to sag a little bit in the butt (my gripe with nearly every pair of maternity jeans) but, I still think these are worth it because they are just so comfortable AND I like the wash and style (hard to find). Light distressing and a frayed hem, still very skinny fit for my style right now but this is how most maternity jeans are. These are a great every day jean!

Best For A Little Fashion: H&M Girlfriend Ankle Jean, $49.99 (pictured below)
Why I love them: What I miss most in my wardrobe is my high-rise, straight leg “mom jeans”. They instantly make anything, even a simple sweater look more cool so getting dressed with basic skinny jeans isn’t nearly as fun. These are a great alternative to all the maternity skinny jeans with a looser fit. They aren’t necessarily the most flattering with this top but I look forward to dressing them up with heeled sandals and tighter tops this spring!!

Best Basic B White Jean: NYDJ Maternity Skinny Jeans in Optic White $139 (pictured below, these were gifted to me)
Why I love these: They don’t stretch out!! They aren’t see through (though nude underwear IS a requirement for sure) and they are just plain. Simple. I wish there were some distressing or something but they are great for everyday outfits! I also love how comfortable they are, that you don’t have to hike them up all day and that the over-the-belly panel is nude.

Best Black Jeans: Madewell Over The Belly Skinny Jeans $138 (pictured below and gifted to me)
Why I Love Them: I really loved these jeans but I will say I think they’ve stretched out after wearing through 1 pregnancy (with Flora). The butt begins to sag, so I wish I would have sized down. I have heard great things about Madewell’s other maternity styles, though!
