The BIG Sephora Insider sale has started!!! If you’re into skincare and makeup then you probably already know the sad fact that it does not go on sale. So this is an amazing chance to stock up on products that you usually can never get for a discount.
It’s a little confusing – so here’s how the sale works. You have to sign up to be a Sephora Insider (it’s a completely free loyalty program where you gain points throughout the year on items you purchase). As you gain points with shopping you get access to the benefits of different tiers…… And here’s where the sale comes into play.
Sephora Rouge Members (top tier) get 20% off until May 6th with code HEYROUGE
Sephora VIB Members get 15% off until May 6th with code HEYVIB
And… Sephora Beauty Insiders (what level you are at upon joining) get 10% off May 2nd – May 6th with HEYINSIDER
So I thought I would share some of my favorite products that I have used and love… along with what new products I’m getting from the sale.
OleHenrikson Truth Serum: I use this every other morning. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly and is super charged with Vitamin C.
OleHenrikson Banana Bright Eye Creme: LOVE this. I just started using it about a month ago and it layers perfectly under concealer to brighten your delicate under eye skin.
SK-II: It has a cult following, I got a bottle from a collaboration and since I started using it daily I do feel like my skin is brighter and has a more even tone. But it could also be the other products I am using :)
Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Balm: I went through a tub of this so quickly. It’s so gentle and great at for removing stubborn makeup when you’re double cleansing.
JetLag Mask: One of my go-to masks! I love using this when my skin is feeling dry and dull and ….as cliche as it is I love to use it on the airplaneT
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask: This has been one of my favorite products for years. I used it while pregnant and nursing and it gives your skin an amazing glow. Best of all – it’s non-toxic and green.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I have used this every night for the past year and anyone that tries it doesn’t stop raving about it! It’s seriously the most hydrating lip mask, if I have any dryness or chapping when I wake up it’s gone! It’s really nice when you’re nursing and especially dehydrated all the time.
Kate Sommerville Liquid ExfoliKate Triple Acid Resurfacing Treatment: GAME CHANGER in my nightly routine. I’m halfway through this bottle and feel like my skin has been much clearer since I started using it every other night (I skip it on the nights I use retinol).
OleHenrikson Glow Cycle Retin-ALT Power Serum: I was obsessed with this stuff when I was breastfeeding and not able to use retinol. It’s an AM serum that really makes your face glow and I swear it contributed to my forehead lines looking smaller!!
Here are the products that I ordered. I’ve done a lot of research on the top products of the sale and keep seeing many of these!
Dr.Jart Blemish Spots: I have heard great things about these blemish spots, and I want to try these on my hormonal acne to see if they do anything to stop the pimples before they take over my face!
Peace Out Microneedling Dark Spot Brightening Dots: You’ve heard about microneedling by now….well these little stickers bring the same concept into your home, by creating micro-channels in your skin to deliver highly concentrated amounts of brightening ingredients to target specific spots on your skin. I’m a little hesitant but because of the great reviews really want to give these a try!
Sephora Collection Brightening Eye Cream :Sephora recently released their own line of skincare and this eye cream already has garnered a devoted following. I’m usually skeptical about eye creams but always looking for something to help me look less tired, and you can’t beat the price so I want to try this out!
The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension: Azelaic Acid is supposed to be great at brightening acne scars. I have two other products by The Ordinary and love them so I’m eager to see if this will work on my skin!
Dr. Dennis Gross AlphaBeta Extra Strength Daily Peel: Ohhh, these pads are legit. I patiently waited until I recently stopped breastfeeding to try them and completely understand the hype. They gave my skin a smooth, glow that lasted for 2 days. I plan to use them once a week now!
Moon Juice Beauty Shroom Exfoliating Acid Potion: If you’re into skincare you’ve hear all about Biologique’s P50 Lotion. It’s French but has been banned in some countries due to the ingredient list. You can finally buy some formula’s stateside but the sheer fact that it’s so strong that some have banned it makes me hesitant about using it on my skin. Well – Moon Juice has created an ‘alternative’ using AHA and 5 BHA complex including glycolic, lactic, and salicylic acid.
