Personalized gifts are a great way to gift this holiday season — especially for those hard to shop for people on your list. I recently teamed up with Personalization Mall
to share two of my go-to gifts. While these would be pretty cute alone, they are much more special when created especially for the recipients. I set out to shop for our parents (who I hope aren’t reading this post!) who I always struggle shopping for.
Gift idea #1
Austin’s parents love popcorn – so we picked out this pretty wooden popcorn bowland had their names, Grandma and Pop-Pop engraved on two smaller bowls. We actually just started having Piper call Grandma “Nana” instead so I will owe her a new bowl :) Instead of just giving the set of bowls we are adding some gourmet popcorn and an iTunes gift card so they can rent a new release at home.
Gift idea #2
My dad is always misplacing his wine glass – it’s become a running joke in the family for a while now. A few months ago I thought I’d get my parents a matching set of stemless wine glasseswith their grandparent names, Gigi and Pops engraved. Piper is their first grandchild and they don’t have anything yet with their “names”. I was so happy to find wine glasses on Personalization Mall because I was dreading having to make a trip into the actual mall to get them made! They are a great size and I love how subtle (and non-tacky) these turned out! We are going to pick up a bottle of their favorite wine and a jar of my favorite sugar & spice nuts (we use this recipe).
I think both of these gift ideas would work well for a lot of people on your list — from grandparents to neighbors, newly engaged couple or as a hostess gift. Do you have any go-to gifts? Personalization mall has a big gift guide full of other ideas to make your holiday shopping easier this year!
