Cardboard Nail Salon Activity

My girls (age 2 and 4.5) had so much fun getting creative with this at-home cardboard nail salon! They were able to practice their fine motor skills carefully painting in the fingernails and get creative at the same time.

This is such a simple activity! I can’t take credit for this idea, it’s been popping up on my Instagram feed for weeks now and I saved it for a rainy day! Simply trace your child’s hand, and then add in an outline for finger nails. We used sturdy cardboard but cardstock would work too. I gave my girls their kid-safe nail polish collection to get creative with and added this paint on glitter we love.
