Tired mamas, I am with you! Most week nights I unfortunately do NOT get enough sleep – especially since I’ve started reading before bed again and keep getting sucked into my books! Luckily my beauty routine has come a long way from putting frozen spoons and preparation H under my eyes (yes, I did both of these things for a long time). Here are a few tools I’ve come to love to fake that well rested look.
Ice Roller: You’ve heard me rave about this on Instagram – and I love it for my whole face! It really depuffs and makes you look like you’ve had a solid 8 hours sleep. There are tons of different ice rollers on Amazon but this one does the trick!
Under Eye Masks: There are so many great ones! My favorite right now are Wander Beauty’s and I am also really liking this more affordable option from Bliss – also available at Target. *These make a great gift for a new mom.
Jade Roller: Not into the whole ice thing? I used a jade roller gently around my eye area before I got mine and feel like it really helped with puffiness overall!
Depuffing Eye Cream: I’ve tried a LOT of under eye creams. These are the two in my current rotation that I really feel help with puffiness while also hydrating and apply great under concealer. For more of a splurge Ole Henriksen’s Banana Bright Creme is amazing and this Sephora Brightening Eye Cream also does the trick!
5 Star Concealer: And finally, you already know that you need a really great concealer. Again, I’ve tried a lot and I keep coming back to BeautyCounter the last few years. My only gripe is that it doesn’t last very long and is expensive but I love the coverage.
