Sugar Cookie Play Dough

08

Dec

This sensory play dough activity is so fun for the holiday season or special occasions like birthdays – but really your kids would enjoy it any time of the year and most likely you already have everything you need on hand!

We scented the play dough with essential oils to make it smell like sugar cookies, decorated our ‘cookies’ with beads and sequins and had so much fun getting creative!

Supplies:
DIY Play Dough Recipe
Stress Away, Cinnamon Bark & Citrus Fresh essential oils (3 drops each)
Small beads & sequins for decorating
Child size cookie sheet
Child size rolling pin
Various cookie cutters

Method:
Make our favorite homemade play dough recipe, as the dough thickens add in the essential oils.

Once it cools, roll it out, use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and decorate with beads and sequins!

Piper even had fun taking all of the beads and sequins off the cookies when we were done!
